Strategy 1: Schedule regular meetings
Everyone on the research team should decide how and when they will communicate about the research. Following a plan makes sure that people share information in a way that works for everyone.
It might be helpful to meet at the same time (daily, weekly, monthly) and the same way (in person or online) every time.
Examples:
- A team decides that they want to meet every Thursday. They also decide that they want an email reminder about the meeting on Wednesday afternoon. The email will remind them what they will talk about at the Thursday meeting.
- A team decides to start the meeting the same way every time. They use an icebreaker to welcome the team.
