Who are peer supporters?

If you are a peer supporter in research, you will help someone like you be a part of a research team.
They are your “peer” because:
- You and the peer might be around the same age
- You and the peer have a disability
- You and the peer work on the same research team
- You and the peer like to do the same things
Peer supporters are someone who:
- Helps a peer to do or learn new things
- Helps a peer by telling them about their own experiences
- Listens to a peer
