Being a member of the research team has taught you a lot about research. You have learned a lot about your specific research project. You have also learned how to do different types of research tasks that could be used in other research projects.

You are a great person for the new peer researcher to learn from.

You can share information with the peer researcher that you found helpful, and tell them about helpful resources.

Examples of resources that can help people learn about research:

Videos about research:
Scientific Method Song
Research Animation

FYREworks: a free online training for those who are new to research and want to learn more about the research process.
READI Training: a free online training for people with IDD and their caregivers to understand and get involved in research as a participant, researcher, and consumer.
